Laboratory of Natural Products (NATPRO) was established based on the understanding that well managed, efficient and effective development of local biological resources is of great benefit to the nation and society. Combination of information on traditional medicinal plant-based usage and the rich local biological resources of this country increase the potential of developing the resources for the prosperity of our nation.
Thus, the main objective of our laboratory is to identify the most effective approaches and methods in developing our local biological resources to benefit the nation and society. The laboratory is well equipped with several sophisticated equipments, highly experienced researchers and support personnels wishes to contribute to the society and the nation through discovery and development of our natural resources .
