Education and work history

Professor Dr. Faridah Abas's research interest lies in the field of functional foods, natural products chemistry, and metabolomics. Her current work is on the identification of metabolome composition and antidiabetic activity of underutilized fruits by using a multiplatform approach of NMR and LCMS metabolomics. She is also a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
