Education and work history

Professor Dr Lai Oi Ming’s primary research interest is in the field of lipid science and technology, focusing on development of health beneficial structured lipids via biocatalysis techniques. Her current work is on the development of natural formulations targeting wound healing, antioxidative properties and inflammatory skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis etc. She is also a Fellow of Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
